About the Role:
B5 Investments LLC is looking for a skilled and dependable Handyman / Maintenance Staff member to join our team in Watsonville, CA! This is a great opportunity for a hands-on professional who takes pride in keeping properties in top shape and enjoys variety in their day-to-day work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance across properties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
- Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance needs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
- Perform painting, patching, and cosmetic repairs as needed
- Maintain and service HVAC, appliances, and other building systems
- Ensure properties are clean, safe, and up to code
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repair work
Requirements:
- Proven experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a related trade
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in various conditions
